Lez Spread The Word is a lesbian culture magazine published annually that is distributed around the world. For their 4th installment, LSTW commissioned Fafard to shoot an intimate editorial.
Esmee, one of Fafard’s first muses, allowed her to explore photography in a more intimate and authentic manner. The experience was monumental for Fafard’s early stages, giving her momentum and inspiration to further her artistry, while also providing a therapeutic outlet.
The photographs in this series were taken years after they first met. These images portray the unique intimacy that comes with a blossoming connection between an artist and it’s muse.
